About Me

I completed a B.A. from Ottawa University and an M.A. in Counselling and Spirituality from St.Paul University. I am a certified counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association as well as a registered member with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I tend to have a practical and down to earth approach to counselling; focusing on the client’s needs in order to identify natural strengths and abilities. I aim to help clients use their strengths to develop skills that increase both their confidence and independence. Through a compassionate and non-judgmental environment, clients can begin to see results by working in a collaborative setting in order to reach their goals. I have experience working with a wide variety of concerns and will counsel individuals over the age of 16.

Some examples of  issues brought to counselling include:
  • Depression
  • Self esteem issues
  • Anxiety/panic
  • Trauma
  • Anger
  • Stress Management
  • Schema/Origin and Awareness
  • Grief and loss
  • Relationship Issues
The great thing in the world is not so much where we stand, as in what direction we are moving.”
